Collaboration Toolkit

by The Partnering Initiative (TPI) and The Global Network of Civil Society Organisations for Disaster Reduction (GNDR)

How to Strengthen Collaboration: A toolkit for civil society organisations was developed by The Partnering Initiative (TPI) and The Global Network of Civil Society Organisations for Disaster Reduction (GNDR) as a result of the project “Evidence and Collaboration for Inclusive Development” (ECID).

There is a lot of good practice available to help build, strengthen and manage partnerships effectively. This toolkit reflects some of the good practice identified among
ECID partners in order to help organisations adopt a more structured and professional approach in their partnership activities.

These tools can be used to revise thinking on existing partnerships or develop an approach for new partnerships; they can be adapted to particular contexts, especially given the dynamic and changing nature of partnerships.

The ‘How to Use this Toolkit’ section provides some easy guidance on which tools you should be using at which stage of your partnerships.

For ease of use, all of the tools within the toolkit are downloadable individually in PDF or Word formats below.

We welcome your feedback – please do let us know how you are using the guide. Any success stories, suggestions or questions are welcome – email elise.belcher@gndr.org
